Importer Exporter Code (IEC Code)

Import & Export Code is a ten-digit unique number issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). Import & Export Code is to be obtained by the business entity for import into or export from India. Import & Export Code is popularly known as the IEC number.

Process

Step 1

‘Apply for IEC’ by going to the Government website and validating certain details with OTP. Upon successful validation of the OTP, a notification shall be received containing the temporary password.

Step 2

Our team shall feed all your details in the application form (ANF 2A format), upload the required documents, pay the required fees and click on the ‘Submit and Generate IEC Certificate’ button. The IEC code will be generated by the DGFT. We shall share the printout of your certificate once the IEC code is generated
